How grade arbitrage works
Grade arbitrage compares what a card costs today with what it could be worth graded. For each grading company and grade we take the graded market value and subtract the raw (ungraded) price plus an estimated cost to grade:
net = graded value − (raw price + grading cost)
A positive number means the graded copy tends to sell for more than the all-in cost of buying it raw and grading it — i.e. a card that may be worth submitting. Grading costs are configurable estimates, not live quotes, and this is informational only — not financial advice.
