Cookie Policy
Pullworthy — the cookies we set and why. Last updated 10 August 2026.
The short version
Pullworthy uses a small number of cookies, and only for things the site needs to work. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not share anything with ad networks. Grading works without an account and without you accepting anything.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in. Set only if you create an account and sign in. It is httpOnly (no script on the page can read it) and is removed when you sign out. Over https it carries the __Secure- prefix. | Essential | About 7 days; refreshed as you use the site |
pw_cookie_consent | Remembers the cookie choice you made in the banner, so we do not ask again. It holds only your choice and the date you made it — nothing that identifies you. | Essential | function(){throw Error("Attempted to call CONSENT_TTL_DAYS() from the server but CONSENT_TTL_DAYS is on the client. It's not possible to invoke a client function from the server, it can only be rendered as a Component or passed to props of a Client Component.")} days, then we ask again |
catalog_ccy | Remembers whether you asked to see card prices in GBP or USD, so the choice sticks as you browse. Set only if you use the currency switch on the card catalog; it holds just the currency code. | Essential | 1 year |
Optional cookies
The banner asks whether you will allow optional cookies, such as anonymous usage analytics. We do not currently set any optional cookies at all. The choice is stored ahead of time so that if we ever add anonymous analytics, it will only run for people who have accepted — and never before you have chosen. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about how grading works.
Other storage on your device
One thing we keep is not a cookie: when you grade a card, your browser stores an edit token in localStorage. It is what lets your browser make changes to a grading you started — for example replacing a photo — and it is sent back to us only to authorise such an edit. It never leaves your device otherwise and is not used to track you across sites.
Changing your choice
Your choice is remembered for 180 days, after which we ask again. To change it sooner, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings; essential cookies will simply be re-set as needed for the site to function, and blocking them may stop you from staying signed in.
More detail
For what we store beyond cookies and how long we keep it, see our Privacy Policy. Questions about any of this can go to our contact page.
